Turns Out, Healing's a Hike is Clara Marie's second book. It is a memoir written as a trail journal, recorded while still on the path, not after reaching the summit.

This book follows a thru-hike of sorts. Not a scenic one, and not a clean one. It moves through different terrain, seasons, and weather, and pays attention to what shows up when you stay in something long enough for it to get real. Nothing here is written from hindsight neatly intact. This is lived experience, mid-stride.

Some days healing looks like steady progress and strength in your body. Other days it looks like slowing right down, setting up camp earlier than planned, or stopping altogether because that's what your nervous system needs. There are stretches that feel familiar and quiet, and others that are steep, uncomfortable, and harder to move through than expected. All of it still counts as part of the hike.
