Turn Your Heart Over to Jesus, Short Stories and Poems

I wrote "Turn Your Heart Over To Jesus" in a short time, and it is a fast reading book. This book starts out with our life's struggles and ends with how several people struggled in the Bible. This is a great book to lead a person to Christ or for the struggling Christian that needs Christ back in their lives. This book makes a perfect gift for yourself or others for any age, man or woman, Christian or non-Christian. One thing about all of my writings is I speak of walking the straight and narrow path to God however, I believe in a loving and merciful God that forgives. This does not always come out in my writings, but the truths are in the Bible and I read the King James Bible along with other ancient versions. I have been reading the Bible for well over two full decades and I have learned a lot about God. I teach the Bible from an honest perspective not wanting any to perish but also to know that we all have a responsibility to serve God with all our hearts souls and minds and with all of our strength. As a Christian author I cannot let God down with a lie that says you can get away with all things and that there is no responsibility. I teach the truth according to ancient Bibles which I feel are truth and the real words of God. I also believe from everything I have read in the Bible that there is a lot more than calling upon the LORD. God want doers not pew warmers. When I say things like this I know it will hurt book sales but I am not a "yes" man or cookie cutter preacher that just came out of a box from a school that taught me how to preach. The truth of the matter is I did not create this book for book sales or for something that will make me famous. I created it for you who is hurting and has perhaps been treted unfairly by Christians and the church. I created for people who perhaps could not find the love of Christ in a church or in a Christian or among other believers. I wrote this creation because I am so disillusioned and upset with the modern church and modern Bibles knowing that God wants love a whole lot more than he wants your wallet. The truth is God isn't interested in telling you a story or repeating the words "give me give me." I don't care if I ever sell one book. That is not my goal. At first I gave all my books away for free but no one valued them and no one read them. I thought by putting a price tag on my books people might see value until they see I am not going to tell them a lie and a fairy tale. The last thing I ever want to do is hurt one of my readers (though I've never had one). For me if I had the choice between a king with money or a janitor with Jesus I would pick the janitor. I know I am supposed to be a politician with words but words can kill and words can make alive. I know the power in words because words got me into something terrible I am ashamed of and will never forgive myself of. I study to preach one day but right now I know in over two decades of studies I am still not ready. For those who want to speak of Christ it is a serious job. I took this book very seriously as with all my books. I admit some of what I did I copied and pasted because other people wrote words that needed to be heard that were far better than anything I could ever write. I care about you. I also realize it is time to take down my websites put them into books because what I have written is important and needs to be read. I want to start putting my writings in the hands of others because how a person portrays Christ might show them the right way. Hey this book might even give you hope. amen
