The friends of God-(Awlya Allah) are the inheritors of spiritual knowledge. It is a matter of rejoicing and pride that his native land Kashmir has remained the residence of greatly honored Awlya, Mashaikhs, and Sadat. Every period has given birth to the shining stars of the religion of Islam, whose good actions and golden sayings are the guiding lamps for us. It is a fact that the study of the biography of these pious people, their miracles and unusual performances inspires mental happiness, enlightenment of the hearts and thee spiritual peace. The present book is a step towards tis effort.Since most of such literature exists in Persian language and some of these have been translated in Urdu language but today's educated youth need their English translation as most of them have been educated in English Medium Schools. A common Kashmiri being ignorant of Persian language is ignorant about his ancestors. It is hoped this book shall prove to be an effort in this direction.
