Truth or Consequences

Three dreams caused me to record the events of my life to date. I had resisted this massive undertaking previously, as I saw no real benefit to the process, other than the provision of a detailed family history for my two sons. Having completed the task however, I see with far greater clarity the patience, grace and oversight God has exercised in my life. He has repeatedly protected my family and forgiven my many acts of arrogant rebellion.I now realize the Christian life is far different than I first imagined. Among other things, I have a responsibility to discover the redemptive potential in the trials I face. I must also seize the opportunity to harness the lessons from those negative events to aid in the construction of the Kingdom of God in my midst.
