A young man's adventures are an old man's memories. These are my memories - this is my story.In 1962 I put on a badge, strapped on a gun and hit the streets in pursuit of evil. I found it, or rather, it found me. I did not have to look far nor exaggerate my imagination. It was there. It still is.Come on, jump in the car. Ride with me. There will be times when you are exhilarated by the high drama and there will be other time you will wish you had stayed home. The dark side of our world took me by surprise, but it did not frighten me. It filled me with resolve. Our world would be filled with chaos except for the Thin Blue Line. I've been there, and I have the highest regard for those who serve as Police Officers. They deserve our support, for without them truth, justice and violence would win the day and cover our land.
