About the Book The story looks at specific acts that constitute patriotic acts, aimed at nurturing and building the true spirit of patriotism. The book highlights issues like waste management; environmental protection; drug abuse; local languages; sexual harassment; family life and politics; importance of paying taxes; importance of the efficiency of public officials and institutions; girl child education; consistent revenge and its effects; and forgiveness and healing. The story revolves around a police officer whose love for country was so strong and it reflected in everything he did. He maintained a fine balance between his job and politics and made a difference in a system clouded with political decadence. His lifestyle influenced people around him and made them true patriots. In a whole, the story uses real life situations and stories to bring out what true patriotism is, the things we do as individuals that destroy the nation and the things we should be focusing on as communities and the nation as a whole. The work also highlights key institutions that have a crucial role to play in nation building and the importance of maintaining their independence.
