In John's account of Jesus' last supper with his disciples, the apostle recounts our Lord's encouragement to his friends, with the words, "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, trust also in me." (John 14:1) Later, Jesus repeats the encouragement saying, "Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid". (John 14:27). While Jesus was sharing this meal with his closest friends, their hearts were troubled. They asked Jesus several questions. This Lenten study is a series of reflections on these questions.
