There were eight of them who rode south to Texas in search of cattle, led by Jacob and Esau Bonnett. What started out as a peaceful cattle drive resulted in grief, tragedy and death. Thieving rustlers worked the cattle trails and bands of rogue Kiowas amd Commanches rode the plains in search of plunder.
