Luke Johnson and Clay Peters, two young ranchers, pass through Carson Point, Colorado, on their way to Texas to get some cattle. They are detained in town because Luke needs to recuperate from a bad cold, and because beautiful Amanda Long asks their help in establishing herself as the rightful owner of her late father's ranch, the Crossed Forks.
