Today, best friends Tripp and Tamus are ready to head to a birthday party However, will Tamus pick up more than just a dessert by the end of the day?

On his way to his friend Banga's birthday celebration, Tripp decides to see what his friend Tamus is doing. Tamus the hippopotamus is his neighbor in Tall Pines and looks forward to the moments they get to share together.

When the duo arrives at the bakery, Tripp takes notice of the baker, who always seems to have a smile on her face. After explaining how her job and duties bring her joy, Tripp realizes he has nothing in his life that does the same.

The baker leaves them with a task for the day: find something, anything, throughout the day that brings them joy. Only then will they get the cookies they've ordered for Banga's birthday party.
