Fabulous field guide

These descriptions seem to be describing the the first edition of "Trees and Shrubs of Colorado" (1988) which indeed was truly effective on the eastern slope and within 150 mile radius of Colorado Springs. HOWEVER, the new edition (published in 2006) is more than double the size (in species, text, and illustrations!) of the first edition and includes the majority of trees and shrubs in the state of Colorado. Please give the new version a try before assuming the "title is misleading." I give this book a 5-star!
