ASSD appliance where used successfully in a randomized clinical trial that proof its power to correct sever skeletal class III malocclusion. ASSD appliance can be consider a paradigm shift in the treatment of class III malocclusion as it can replace conventional surgical distractor. ASSD can provide adolescent Class III patients with a rapid and comfortable treatment option. It is hoped that this clinically effective, noninvasive and inexpensive treatment will have a significant improvement in the quality of life of those type of patients.
