The book you have in your hands TREATISE ON MEDICAL COACHING I is a reissue of the course book "LE COACHING SDHEA", published in French, and expurgated of exercises and tutorials. It has now been translated, much to the delight of English-speaking medical readers.
This book is an instruction manual intended to provide all the abilities and behaviours that will allow you to do medical or therapeutic help through coaching.
Mainly, it allows you to take into consideration all the techniques that allow you to be a good Coach, loyal, serene and balanced. The personal development of the Coach is well considered, especially if he or she is to be part of university studies.
This treatise is the final work of my life that I wrote and produced after twenty-five years of work on the subject, and fifteen years of experience as a teacher of coaching techniques to therapists, doctors or students wishing to train in this field.
This treatise teaches the basic techniques of therapeutic coaching, i.e. therapeutic speech, Ericksonian hypnosis, in-depth dynamic sophrology, sophrodynamic relaxation and NLP or neuro-linguistic programming.
Complete in coaching techniques, I hope that this book will find its readers among members of the medical profession or students in this field, which is why I have called it MEDICAL COACHING to differentiate it from other coaching.
Coaching now has its letters of nobility.
There is a volume 2, MEDICAL COACHING II, "in-depth techniques", which integrates the new neuroscience technologies that were suggested in this first volume such as Psycho-Neuro-Immunology, the famous PNI. It deals with the mental patterns of sophrodynamic relaxation from the endocrine glands and the various hormones.
There are also the no less famous neuro-associative programs proposed by R. Bandler, the PNA. Volume II also develops all the knowledge in terms of sleep treatment, stress management and aging
