This is Volume 1, book 2 and it is current to November 2018. Many people use the Treasury Financial Manual (TFM) every work day and it is a necessarydocument to do their job. Volume 1 is over 1,000 pages. Sometimes you have to take the TFMto a conference room as a reference tool. Typically, that's several large binders so you need asmall wagon just to access the information. Seems so much easier to bring along a mobiledevice. Because Volume 1 is so big, it is 2 books. Book 1 contains Part 1 and Part 2 up to Chapter 4700 Appendix 3 Book 2 contains Part 4700 Appendix 4 to end of Volume 1 Why buy a book you can download for free? We print this book so you don't have to. First you gotta find a good clean (legible) copy and make sure it's the latest version (not alwayseasy). Some documents found on the web are missing some pages or the image quality is sopoor, they are difficult to read. We look over each document carefully and replace poor qualityimages by going back to the original source document. We proof each document to make sureit's all there - including all changes. If you find a good copy, you could print it using a networkprinter you share with 100 other people (typically its either out of paper or toner).
