This isn't a Treasure its a GOLD MINE!

The recipes in the book are super easy to make,and they taste like you have slaved over them all day long when in fact you really haven't. It's not just cake recipes (my fav. being the Choc. Chip Cake) but I shall always use Teresa's Brownie recipe for the rest of my life. There are Pound Cake recipes,Coffee Cake recipes,Snacks and Picnic Treats recipes, and many more treasures. Teresa, YOU are the real Treasure. Thanks

A delicious way to cook a cake and share a story!

This book is wonderful!! A friend showed me the book and I have ordered several copies since then. It makes great wedding presents, shower gifts and all occasion gift. I have met the "cake lady" and she is as funny as her book! I can't wait until her next book arrives. The cakes are simple to make and she shares entertaining hints with each cake. It is a wonderful read and cookbook!!

Treasured Recipes from the Charleston Cake Lady is full of easy and innovative recipes. Some very tasty cakes are made with ingredients such as a box of crushed vanilla wafers. I have given several copies of this book as gifts and everyone seems to enjoy it, even the less accomplished cooks. Give it with a bundt pan for dynamic gift.

Want to bake a cake just like Grandma's? This book is for you. A superb collection of simple, old-timey cake recipes. Good clear instructions. Nothing fancy or fussy or hard to make. Several of Teresa's recipes are the same ones I have made for years from hand-me-down family recipes... and I can't wait to try the others! Ummm good! And if you've never tried Hummingbird Cake, you do not know what you're missing! Pineapple and bananas and nuts and cream cheese....Heaven! My favorite cake and it's in this book! Treat yourself to this wonderful collection of classic cakes. Would make a great gift too!
