Travel Tales of Modern Times

The book deals on the subject of travels by the author who gained wide experiences by visiting more than 50 countries of the world. His first foreign travel was in January 1984 to Brazil. Incidentally, this was for the first time the author boarded a KLM flight and that too with a First-Class ticket in Delhi airport, which took him to Amsterdam's Schiphol airport and from there to Rio de Janeiro Airport of Brazil. He went for undertaking a joint study by FAO Project on Rural Living. Here, he mentions several stories about the problems he faced in Brazil. Likewise, he travelled to Argentina; many European countries; USA; Australia; New Zealand, Turkey, Egypt, Japan, Saudi Arabia and many more. The author has described about his experience of the above countries, their food habit, customs, cultures, people's approach to tourists etc. He has narrated stories about the obstacles he encountered while travelling these countries and solving problems, especially his Ushuaia visit in Patagonia, Argentina. He recommended travelling as a panacea for many modern diseases. The book contains extensive photographs about the places and is highly enjoyable. He finished his last journey in 2023.
