This is Mitch Bensel's second graphic ER book. The first book, Time of Death The Story of Jared, is a fiction novel of trauma and romance. Trauma is my business, is in journal form, raw and graphic based on real events, keeping the reader in the ER. Triage from hell to traumas back to back with a leg on the side. Some patients are very ill and some are just insane. One review...Graphic but not gory, this book took me completely by surprise. I like to seek out new and independent authors and this did not disappoint. What a story. I think I was dragged through every human emotion while reading this, it so captures those true life moments but with just enough distance to see you are looking through Jared's lense. I would recommend this to medical drama junkies but also to anyone who seeks a new, sometimes scary, perspective.
