Life has a way of overwhelming you. This book is my outlet. It is broken promises, love, controversy, raw emotion, and thoughts. Sometimes emotions are so complex the only way to release them is to write them down. My writings are things I couldn't say or chose not to say out loud because the meaning would have gotten lost in verbal expression. Social media has taught us that we are more alike than we could have ever dreamed. My hope is one of my poems speak to you and help remind you that you are not alone, you will get through this, or motivate you to write your own.
