This book is about people with special needs and/or disabilities. I don't know that I would define this work as entirely within the "self-help" genre, but my Amazon options were limited :) This book is a collection of what has been on my heart to share for years; the immeasurable value of connecting with the special needs and disabled communities. There just so happen to be hints of 'self-help' suggestions in there, too. A bit of it is from my perspective, but a large portion comes from conversations with some of the best human beings that I have ever met. Use this as a guide for how to treat individuals with special needs and/or disabilities in your community. Take a suggestion from one of the application sections if you feel so inclined. Or, simply enjoy some heartwarming accounts of what it means to truly see beyond disabilities.
