Explanation

This is a re-printing of the "Transactions of the American Brewing Institute: Vol. 1: May 1901 - September 1902" The volume is composed of meeting minutes, summaries of papers (on topics such as yeast and sanitation) and paper discussions. This volume is an interesting historical artifact, but should not be considered to include best-practice for brewing under modern sanitation guidelines and laws.
