Perfect, In-depth Introduction to Laplace Transforms

I used this book as an undergraduate my junior year of college. In fact, the author of this book was my professor 4 times (non of which were for this class). This text is a teacher on its own...very well written, ideas are clear, and consists of in-depth explainations for student understandment. For the student that does not have an introductory course in transform method(Laplace in particular),... THIS BOOK IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. It consists of numerous practical examples involving electrical circuits to allow the student to visualize the importance of the transform technique. Transform methods included in the text are Laplace, Fourier, and Z-domain. However, the information on Z-Transforms is very introductory; it is not the greatest source in that area. An appendix in the back includes proofs and derivations of common Laplace Transform pairs. However, the first edition (1990) consists of some errors in the example problems and end-of-chapter problems. A new edition should be coming out soon including the corrections. As of now, I am a graduate student (Masters Candidate) in Electrical Engineering at another institution and I STILL USE THIS BOOK AS A REFERENCE...well worth the money.
