Sarah and Greg finally left their fast-paced high pressure lifestyles in downtown Boston and headed for a leisurely life on the peaceful, secluded shores of Tranquility Lake. Remodeling their dream home proves to be a daunting task, but one they tackle with unbrideled enthusiasm. Sarah and Greg become fast friends with their neighbors, and happily immerse themselves in their new-found country culture. Trouble looms large when only months after their arrival in Tranquility Lake, Greg and Sarah discover that the State is threatening to drain their beloved 125-acre lake due to defects in the dam. The plot thickens when the dam owner is found murdered in his pickup on his way home from the local watering hole.
