The insurrection to take control of the United Space Force is heating up and spreading all over the solar system. The USS Lightning Rod gets caught in the middle of a dangerous game of cat-and-mouse between traitors hidden in the ranks, mutinous crews trying to take control of ships in favor of one side or the other, and both sides want to use Gunnery Sergeant Sailor English as a pawn for their own ends.
