Training with a Mysterious Master is not a self-help book, a meditation manual, or a promise of hidden abilities. It is a personal account of what unfolded over years of ordinary practice, unexpected encounters, and a series of experiences that ranged from quietly absurd to deeply unsettling.

The story moves between the mundane and the inexplicable without warning: cups of tea, public toilets, long periods of boredom, and moments that resist easy explanation. Familiar ideas from meditation, internal cultivation, and traditional medicine appear along the way - not as systems to adopt, but as lenses through which certain experiences made sense at the time.
