Road to Happiness

This is book two in the Great Wagon Road series but reads as a stand-alone. I have such admiration for these people who tackle the hardship and danger of wagon trails looking for a better future. These characters show such great resilience and maturity in the face of danger and tragedy and I loved how inspiring their lives were. The historical details were well researched and you felt like a part of the story. I must admit by the epilogue I was sobbing so make sure you have a few tissues. This is a beautiful love story born out of a necessity to survive. You will be blessed to add to your TBR pile. I received a complimentary copy from CelebrateLit.
