Tragedy of 'The Crow'

By: Law, John William

On March 30, 1993, an up-and-coming actor was filming one of a few remaining scenes in what he hoped would be his breakthrough role. But instead of breaking through to superstardom, he met his death in a bizarre series of circumstances that tragically paralleled the movie he was making and the eerie tale of his father some 20 years before. This is the story of the tragic filming of "The Crow," starring Brandon Lee. On the heels of a bright future, the young actor was accidentally killed on the soundstage and set forth a media firestorm and changes to the movie industry with regards to health and safety. Looking back at the tragic sequence of events, as well as the story behind his father, Bruce Lee's, tragic death, the story details events before, during and after that have shaped movie history. Also includes a behind the scenes look at the tragic filming of Twilight Zone - The Movie, ten years before The Crow.
