Gorgeous illustrations for lovers of folk tales

With all the fairy tale books floating around my house, it's sad that this is my only one that focuses on Celtic legends. But then again, it's a good, thick copy with more than plenty of stories, understandably told, illustrated by a variety of artists. Wilson treats the lore as it should be, without going the fantasy route and trying to make everything more epic than it is. And yet he doesn't cutsify it, either. These are great, time-tested stories of all different genres, perfect to pick up for a read.
