Good content, but poorly organized

I used this book in my first two semesters of Latin. While I liked the approach that it took toward really drilling grammar, I thought that the chapters were too long. They tried to fit too much into each chapter, making it harder to digest. While this isn't too much of a problem when using it in a class, I can see where it would be problematic for someone trying to teach themselves.So, overall- Good for group study, bad for individuals. Try Wheelock's instead.
