Really entertaining read with some truly valuable lessons

A fast-paced and layered story with exiting (and unexpected) twists and turns. What I liked best about "Toxic Love" is that I wasn't just entertained -- I actually learned some incredibly valuable lessons about workplace violence that could save lives (seriously). Companies should consider having their employees read this book. A lot more engaging than the horrible training classes I've experienced in the past, and chocked full of truly relevant and valuable lessons. Also loved the different perspectives/voices featured in the book. A unique read.

The book is a great read with excitment while being accurate in its depiction of stalking, the mind of the perpretrator and the response of the psychologist and the company. So many books get it wrong. The author spent the time and energy to learn the field of dealing with stalking. This book works as a great read and a great way to improve HR training. I am using it in advanced forensic courses as a teaching tool. update: The more I use this approach to teaching about such a difficult topic, the more effective it is. I encourage teacher of psychopathology at both the undergraduate and graduate level to consider using it
It kept me guessing...great book.

I just stayed up all night reading this book. It was really, really good! There were a lot of twists and turns and the ending totally surprised me, not an easy thing to do. The story was really interesting and well-written - I liked how it is told from 3 perspectives - I can't really recall a book where this was done nearly as well as in TOXIC LOVE. It was creative and refreshing. I felt like I really got to know each of the characters and I could see how they interpreted the same events in completely different ways. I also loved how well-written the stalker character was. Although you may find yourself starting to empathize with him at some points, he is very creepy and twisted and can really get in your head. There were a few times when I would get up and make sure my windows were all locked. Be careful reading it late at night or you may psych yourself out. While I just read the book for fun, it also teaches a lot about workplace violence and psychology. As far as I know, the company where I work doesn't have a policy for preventing violence, but the book actually got me thinking about what to do and what not do if I ever encountered this kind of situation in real life. Whether you're just looking for nice thriller or you want to learn something, I definitely recommend this book. It kept me interested and kept me guessing. And I will definitely be double-checking my window and door locks for a long time.
