This is a story about Torpedo the dog who helped the British Navy during WW2. was a stray after surviving a laboratory accident and after saving Gerry's life, a man who had fallen in the river. They became friends and when Gerry joined the Navy because of Torpedo's special skills of exceptional strength, fast swimming and acute hearing he was enlisted by the British Navy too.
