Incredibly real

Finally someone willing to tell the truth about successful women and their hidden weeknesses. I felt like I lived the life of the main character and the story Valerie Clark wrote was about me. It felt incredibly real and honest. To write something so haunting you have to dig deep and this writer did.

Makes you stop and think...

how many other women suffer in silence from scars of childhood emotional injuries like Natalie. This book delves deep into the heart of a woman filled with scary demons from her past that is so real it gives you chills. An accurate an honest portrayal of an all too common circumstance. Every man with a daugther should read this.

Incredibly juicy and a whole lot more...

I usually don't read novels but I saw the author interviewed on tv and thought I would give this one a try. Tormented was incredibly juicy but Clark packed in an intriguing plot, interesting charaters and a rollercoaster rider that would not quit. Read it and tell all your friends. They'll thank you for it!

Loved it from beginning to end

Could not put it down. Stayed up all night to see waht would happen to Natalie, Jeremy and David. How would she choose between pleasing her father and doing what was in her heart. Seemed like a tough question at first then a simple question by the end when the story unravels. And boy does it unravel. Good read for the Jersey shore or pass it around your houseshare this summer in the Hamptons or Fire Island.
