In modern society, the aesthetic demands of patients, particularly young adults, are growing due to the increasing importance of physical appearance. Aesthetic dentistry, especially concerning dental dyschromia, is highly sought after as discolorations can significantly impact social and personal well-being.This work explores the origins and variations of tooth color and the causes of abnormal coloration. It evaluates two treatments for managing dyschromia: tooth lightening and bonded veneers. We will outline their indications, contraindications, and procedural protocols to help practitioners choose the most appropriate treatment, ensuring aesthetically pleasing results for patients.
