Vive en Cornualles con su familia.

Terence Dooley (Cornwall, 1950) is a poet and translator of Spanish poetry. He is the author of The Why of It (Argent Press, 2016). Among his translations, which are published by Shearsman Books, are those of Eduardo Moga, Selected Poems (2017) and My Father (2021); Mariano Peyrou, The Year of the Crab (2019) and Possibilities in Shade (2023); Mario Mart n Gij n, (Sur)rendering (2020); Mercedes Cebri n, Affordable Angst (2022); Daniel Samoilovich, The Enchanted Isles (2022); Jordi Doce, Master of Distances (2023); and the anthologies Streets Where to Walk Is to Embark. Spanish Poets in London (1811-2018) (2019) and Ten Contemporary Spanish Women Poets (2020). In addition, Dooley has edited Penelope Fitzgerald's essays and letters ‒he is her literary executor‒, A House of Air (2003) and So I Have Thought of You (2008), respectively, and has written the epilogues for the Spanish translations of her novels, such as Inocencia (2013), La flor azul (2014) or La librer a (2018). He lives in Cornwall with his family.

Tocoloro collects Dooley's poetry in a bilingual English-Spanish edition, whose translator and introductor is the poet Eduardo Moga. Writers Mercedes Cebri n, Jordi Doce and Daniel Samoilovich each contribute with a short afterword, and the former is also the author of the cover illustration.
