Silly, Sad, Happy!

Imagine a book all about a little mouse who makes faces in the mirror with his Dad. Now imagine that mouse a cute little mouse named Toby. This is another great book in this series. It explores emotions from sad to glad, and while some of it is just pretend, there's real warmth and love as well. In the end, there's a real mirror to look into. You or your kids can make silly faces, or do anything else you like with it!

Great bedtime book

My 2-year-old son and I love this book. It's a good way for him to learn about different emotions, and it encourages him to look in the mirror and see what his own face looks like when he is happy or sad or frightened. He likes to make the silly sounds too; during the day, he'll come up to me and say "Mommy 'Eek, eek!'".It's a great "winding down" bedtime story too, because it's about Toby getting ready for bed. I highly recommend this book and I will be buying more Toby books for Christmas for my son.

Set in a nurturing family environment, the story is a pleasure to read. A nice surprise for the reader appears on the last page: a mirror in which children will enjoy making their own faces.
