In this book, the main character "Buttercup" will take the readers on a trip to the moon to see if it's real or just a ballon, along with his newly founded friends from book one. On their journey, they stop to rest and quinch their thirst on some flowers and rotten fruit, while Buttercup teaches them the "Moon Song". Once on the moon they discover some interesting places and just as they are getting ready to return home, they spot some glowing butterflies. This entices their curiosity to explore further, but they will have to leave this for another day, as they must return home before midnight.
