This book tells of a true to life story of how I dealt with being the victim of incest. The story is written in heart-rending, graphic details to give its reader a sense of the actual experience. In telling this story, it is my endeavor to help others who have experienced such an ordeal to first forgive themselves, and then to forgive the one who hurt them. In my story, I tell how God gave me strength and the mental stamina to withstand and come out nearly unscathed by the abuse. I want to encourage all readers to know that God is a God of mercy, and love and that the power of love is real. I pray that all who read these pages find the answers to all of their haunting questions. There is a wonderful freedom awaiting you. After all of the lies and deceit has been exposed, there is peace that will overflow your soul loosening it's grips of the guilt and shame. I hope that you too will find the strength to tell the truth. For in that telling, by the grace and power of God, the chains that held you captive will surely be broken.
