To Serve and Protect - an Oustanding Story

To Serve and Protect grabbed my attention from the first chapter. The story moves between political power and corruption in Washington to the peace of small town America, in Goshen, New York. The story has numerous twists and turns as well as surprises when you least expect it. I highly recommend buying this book. Excellent first offering. I'm sure we'll be hearing more from James K. Magee.

I could not put the book down. The plot twists are not only unpredictable, but well developed and easy to keep up with. The characters are believable and the ending a surprise that no one could have guessed. It would make a great movie!

Magee keeps you turning pages, with plot twists that are original and unpredictable. His detailed setting and well-developed characters bring Martin and his small town to life, so the reader cannot help becoming invested in the outcome. An all-around great read.
