To Love A Princess: The Crown That Broke Us

A tale of two classes with a modern and hyperbolic twist. Chloe, is the Princess of England, third in line to throne and at the height of aristocracy. Michael, is a lower than lower class boy, who is a promising footballer, trying to make it out.
The two meet at Chloe's first royal engagement after he mothers death and so their journey begins. With difficult childhoods, societal and occupational pressures mixed with a class divide so large the two feel more separated than the Earth and Mars, will their relationship start? Or more importantly can it even survive?

A love story following two teenagers stalked by the spotlight with difficult families in completely different ways, the two have to learn how to navigate growing up in the spotlight and their blossoming relationship, together. With strong supporting characters mixed with a promise of future books, who will be the main character in this story and will the crown truly break them?

A story emotionally driven, with strong themes, perfect for anyone tired of baseless romances with no message or substance behind them. Those who love a story of forbidden romance, class divide, modern period dramas and or anything to do with royalty will love this book. Take a glimpse of what the royal family is like behind closed doors and tragedy can truly affect dynamics.

You will laugh, cry and feel anger and joy throughout the story and end wanting to know what's next? Take a chance on a book that will not only make you think but fall in love with characters, constantly debating their morals and their decisions. At the end of the story, think who was I rooting for at the beginning and who am I rooting for now?

This is a semi-modern royal contemporary romance set in the 2000's which will appeal to fans of American Royals by Katherin McGee, Red, White and Royal Blue by Casey Mcquiston and the Royal We by Heather Cocks and Jessica Morgan for the royal romance aspect but also fans of Normal People by Sally Rooney and the Boy Who Steals Houses by C.G. Drews for fans who enjoy a story with emotional turmoil and heavier themes. For those who like the stylistic choice of David Nicholls' One Day may also enjoy the style in which I have written in with each chapter focusing on a different day in the characters lives. However, it also feels as if you are reading an episode of The Crown, Succession, One day and so many other emotional and dramatic TV shows.

Each chapter takes one day at a time allowing you to feel close and understand the characters. A story that can expand to the year 2065, if you give it a try, I will be most grateful.
