As an adult, I felt the need to review the disturbing details of my life and can now see them as the extraordinary story it is as an adult looking into the past. I felt a need to remind myself of who I am, how my personality was composed, what makes me the way I am, and what instilled the beliefs I have. Despite the shame and embarrassment that accompanied me throughout my life events, this story not only exposes my deepest darkest memories and ugly truths, it taught me about the strength and endurance an individual must have in order to survive impossible situations.
