There is also one complication, stationed in the town they are heading for is Jane's husband, and he wears the uniform of the SS. From Dorset to France and to Holland Dan has to balance the war with his personal life. His mother killed by the Luftwaffe his sister blinded by the same bomb. And his love for the woman married to the enemy.
