To-Do List inspires young and old not to take life too seriously. The “tasks” on Maya's to-do list range from the everyday-buy milk, be less messy, go on vacation, make friends, and no fighting-to the... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I'm an elementary art teacher and I came about Maya's book. The drawings are incredible in and of themselves but what I really love about this book is that way Maya speaks to the reader like she is their friend. Cute little characters hold up signs saying "I like you", little squares and circles, and triangles dance with each other and I love how she introduces herself with a funny self portrait on the first page. It's only implied through the nuanced illustrations but to me the hidden gem of this book is the underlying message of love, friendship, joy of life, and a "let's all get along" togetherness. Can't wait until her next book comes out!
My to-do list: Write a review of to-do list

Author and illustrator, Maya Waldman, spent a year teaching English on the Marshall Islands. I think it must have taken her a year to illustrate this well-made tiny tome. I love this book from the red-tape spine and yellow cover to the intricate black ink drawings that illustrate to-do list. Maya encourages readers to make their own to-do list and seek out adventure of their own.

Amazing art, wonderful imagination

I've seen an advance copy of the book and it's incredible. Maya's charm and imagination are evident in every single drawing, and the unique artistic style is absolutely delightful. The fine detail and patterns in the art are staggering when you realize how much work had to go into each one. I think the book would be great for kids of any age, but also as a gift for friends, family, or anyone else you'd like to inspire or see smiling.
Amazing drawings

Maya's illustrations are indeed tiny and precise. I am so happy to finally be able to purchase a book of her work after seeing individual drawings for several years. This book is teh bomb (not to be confused with teh crab)
