Trying to capture a reluctant spinster

Like the '80s song goes "Once you try it, you'll never forget my love". But for Nathanial Jenkins its once he's tried it he'll never forget a spinsters love. Nathanial is annoyed by the endless sea of frilly, young, gabby, empty headed chits that seem to be mass produced by the ton who he can't stand never mind wed, this causes his mother nothing but heartache. Then one night at a ball he sees a woman who has no concept of fashion or flirting, a twenty-seven year old spinster named Olivia Blakesly who when he dances with asks him. "I want you to seduce me," This takes him completely by surprise, since he expected plenty of things except a request to deflower her. Olivia has given up on marriage, but doesn't want to die inexperienced in desire or lust while caring for her aging parents estranged from her sisters in this arena. And after thinking about it has decided that he should be the one to end her inexperience, Nathanial like all men chooses to do this, and slowly finds her one of the more attractive, desirable, intelligent, and independent women he's ever met and with the help of her family and his he convinces her life with him is everything she could ever want. Megan Bryce makes an amazing, enjoyable read.
