"To Be A Man of God", is a devotional that depicts Biblical men giving advice to the modern men of today. It's a walk through the Bible featuring some of our greatest Biblical figures; Such as, Solomon, David, Samson... Here's something from Adam... Day 1: Take responsibility for your actions Genesis 3:12 The man said, "The woman you put here with me-she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it." "When you're given guidelines in life, remember that they're there to protect you. When you violate them, you violate yourself. Nevertheless, if you happen to fall short, be man enough to own up to your part. When you own up to your mistakes, your mistakes won't be able to own you anymore." Have you ever wondered what it would be like to talk to a figure from the Bible? I have. I've imagined what it would be like to get advice from great men and women who have touched our lives and helped us to become the people that we are today. They've inspired us, encouraged us and through the power of God have reached out to us through time and space helping us to make decisions in our lives based on what the Lord did in theirs. In my opinion, we're dealing with a crisis with our youth today. I think that what's missing is Godly mentors and Biblical advice. Unfortunately though, many youths fail to see a need for such things and furthermore have a hard time relating to the figures in the Bible. This is my attempt to bridge the gap.
