Worth reading. Soldiers' Angels is a truly grass roots inspiration.

This book is worth reading. If you have any interest in fellow human beings, their spirit, their fears, their emotion, their love, then you will learn something from this book. It is a surprisingly engaging book that you won't put down until you have read it cover to cover. The love of a mother and the persistence she shows blossoms into a full-fledged volunteer organization of many thousands of caring people. Soldiers' Angels isn't about war, it is about people, human to human, caring... Buy this book! Learn about the young kids that are putting their lives on the line and regardless of whether you are for or against the war learn something from this book. You will be inspired. You will smile and maybe even chuckle to yourself. You will finish this book fast and you will thirst for more details, reflections and information. Everything can always be done better, but done is better than perfect and not done. Jeff Bader got it done and promises to relay even more in a future book. One ripple can make a wave in a large ocean.

Amazing woman - amazing story

If ever there was a reminder that we all have it in us to do great things, this book relating the founding of the Soldiers Angels organization by Patti Patton-Bader is a perfect one. The mother of a soldier had an idea - to provide support and caring for every deployed soldier - and from that idea the Soldiers Angels organization was born. This book is written with love and tremendous insight by Jeff Bader, Patti's husband, and the author does a wonderful job of conveying the difference that Soldiers Angels has made in the life of so many. He also paints a portrait of his wife that will remain in my heart forever. Have a box of tissues handy when you read this - it really is very moving. This is truly an uplifting book - inspiring and emotional.
