Easy to understand and very helpful

Although this book is not technically an outline, it provides short, helpful overviews for each of the 66 books in English Bibles. The reader can quickly learn about when the book was written, who may have written it, and what is included in the content. Reading this background information before you delve into the Bible itself makes the material more understandable. A one volume Bible dictionary is, for me, the Bible reference book I use the most. For someone relatively unfamiliar with the Bible, this classic by Landis is an excellent addition to your home library and a great second choice as a reference.
