Tinyopolis in Thermopolis is the second book written by Chuck Cooper. His first book is titled Old Man and the Neighborhood. Both books are faith based. Chuck is a retired United Methodist pastor. He has served a number of churches in Colorado and Wyoming. He also served as a District Superintendent for Wyoming.
Chuck was born in Gunnison, Colorado, the son of a rancher. He grew up in Arvada, Colorado graduating from high school there in 1966. Graduating from Kansas Wesleyan University in 1970 and the Iliff School of Theology in 1973. He severed United Methodist Churches at Wages and Pleasant Valley, both open country churches, and churches in Arvada, Broomfield, Center, Saguache, and Lamar, all in Colorado. He also served churches in Worland and Thermopolis, Wyoming as well as serving as a District Superintendent for the state of Wyoming and northeast Colorado.
Chuck is married to Sharon Cooper. He wants to express his appreciation for her support in his ministry and in the writing of these two books. He has two children, Holy Philipps, married to Jeremy Phillips, and Wesley Cooper.
