Timeshare on Bourbon Street explores certain themes in modernism such as the importance of the machine as a part of beauty, the importance of subjective experience and the necessity for the system to replace the concept of "objective reality." A play on impressionism and the deliberate use of clich as a means to question the modern experience, this work experiments with the intersection between light and dark, surface and depth and the mundane and mysterious moments in life and love.
