a wonderful example of this genre, and a great read

This is a great book in the Tom Clancy mode. It's characters are believable, their actions real, and explains modern warfare- what it is like to be be a soldier today. Highly recomended for someone who really likes this type of book. I cannot wait for the sequel. It is the author's first book, and I hope it's not his last.

A fast read and full of action

I loved this book!!! The main characters make James Bond and Rambo look like under-acheivers. I enjoyed the details that were realistic and accurate and brought home the reality of the special forces. The predictions about terrorist attacks in America were eerily accurate and I can hardly wait for the next book by this author.
