Using augmented reality for the characters, google Earth VR and 'Wander' as a VR interface projected inside a gallery space in New York and on site at Chios, we will attempt to use the tools of the internet and connectivity not as a 'divisive tool' but as a type of new experience. This is empathetic, and a memory inducing tool. It begs types of 'Virgillian guides' through complex and contrasting historical data. Following a few ideas of Technology critics such as Spengler, Heidegger, Berardi, and Virilio, we will attempt to place the tools, new memory, and 'site' in the background of our synchronous performance, and types of 'agency and Humanity' in the foreground. Far from being a experiment in gimmicks, complex layering, in technophilia, we are attempting to use these new and very current tools to retell an old tragic story of apocalypse.
