This book offers a fun way to learn about rhyming. Each page includes illustrations of animals in funny situations through the use of personification. Every page also has two sentences that rhyme, and although it is not an alphabet book, the type of animal and its name follow the alphabet's order.
The repetition of letter sounds in the same sentence will help with understanding the relationship between letters and sounds, and repetitive phrases will help with word recognition. The back pages include learning activities that will help reinforce the rhyming concept. It is a great book to help instill the love of reading for pleasure in children of all ages. It is recommended for ages four to ten.
